As moderator, I want to thank Andries. He made it possible EBOS-spotting was the first to know about the crash. (only 4 minutes after the crash)
A small, but good forum...

Hello,
Ze zijn boven water gekomen de idioten...
Oude vrachtbak Kalitta crasht in Zaventem
| Quote: |

Indeed, before you say something like this you have to wait untill the investigation report is public.
As we all know these 'cancer' people they only want to close as many airports as possible. They do forget how they get in Spain, Italy, ... and how they get all there fruit, flowers, fish, ... |

Maybe a stupid question, but you never know.
Is this a 'total loss' ? |

Depends on how you look at it. She may never fly again in 1 piece, but she'll continue on flying in other 747-200's. When it will be broken up, all possible parts that can still be used will be catalogued and inspected. If they are approved, they will go into recirculation again as spare parts. Standard practices.
Greetz,
Andries |

Hi
which means we might get unindentifiable parts of it at OST on other 747's
