| October freight volumes at Kent were 3,174 tonnes, more than double the figure of a year ago. Kent International is continuing to build on its excellent first six months, which is traditionally the slower half of the year for UK importers using the airport. |

November freight volume at KIA was 3,752 tonnes, 1,025 tonnes (37.6%) ahead of last year and consistent with the strong freight results achieved at the airport during 2009. For the financial year to date cargo traffic is more than double that of the 2008 performance and 37% ahead of the previous peak volumes reached in 2007.
Cargo Italia paid its first visit to KIA in November, operating an MD-11 aircraft carrying concert equipment for Beyonce's tour dates at London's 02 Arena. |

For the nine months of the financial year to date cargo traffic was more than double the 2008 total and 28% ahead of the comparative period in 2007. |

February freight volume at KIA was 2,576 tonnes in line with the previous year. For the eleven months of the financial year to date cargo traffic is 62% ahead of FY09.
The airport played a part in the Haiti relief effort during the month, hosting a full cargo shipment of aid supplies which departed from Manston on a direct flight to Port Au Prince on 23 February. |

March freight volumes at KIA totalled 3,641 tonnes - a 25% increase on the prior year of 2,914. The month benefitted from a number of freight charters including an Antonov 124 and an Ilyushin IL-96.
Cargo traffic for the financial year ended 31 March 2010 showed strong growth with tonnages 57% ahead of the prior financial year with a total of 36,084 tonnes being transported through the airport. Scheduled traffic has increased markedly over the period supplemented by an increasing number of large charter flights.
The airport continues to gear up for the 27 May 2010 launch of scheduled, daily Flybe services to Edinburgh with early sales continuing to perform well. |

Freight traffic continued to grow with the 2,608 tonnes handled in May an increase of 15% on the same month last year. A new customer, ZAAB Air, commenced operations during the month with strong initial loads. .
Flybe launched a daily scheduled passenger service with Edinburgh which has been well received with strong load factors on all flights. The success of this service has encouraged Flybe to announce a further route to Manchester which is due to commence in September 2010.

Freight traffic through Manston rose 12% against the previous year for the same month, with the rolling 3 month total up 5%. The recent demise of MK Airlines is beginning to be compensated by Egypt Air and Meridian who have increased capacity. The Flybe Edinburgh service continues to attract good passenger loads and is running ahead of expectation with encouraging forward bookings
